2011 Middle School Transition Program
A transition program especially for sixth graders moving on to seventh grade which will introduce students to middle school policies and provide an overview of Mathematics 7 and English Language Arts 7. Program runs from July 5 to Aug. 4, 2011


2011 High School Transition Program
A transition program especially for eighth graders moving on to ninth grade which will introduce students to high school policies and provide an overview of Integrated Algebra and English Language Arts. Program runs from July 5 to Aug. 4, 2011


2011 Ninth Grade Credit Recovery Program
A program for ninth graders to recover credits in Integrated Algebra, Living Environment, U.S. History and Government, English I, Art Appreciation and Introduction to Photography. This program runs from July 5 to Aug. 18, 2011

 

2011 High School Summer Program – Credit Recovery
A program for seniors (12th grade) to recover credits in Seminar in Math, Ecology, Participation in Government, Global History 2. English IV, and Health and Instructional Technology. This program runs from July 5 to Aug. 18, 2011

NATIONAL HIV TESTING DAY IS MONDAY, JUNE 27

Did you know that outside of New York City, Westchester has the most people living with HIV and AIDS of any other county in New York State?  In addition, 40% of individuals in Westchester are diagnosed with AIDS within one year of learning of their HIV status, meaning that they likely had been infected with HIV years earlier without knowing.

A new state regulation now requires that people ages  13 to 64, and other ages as indicated, be offered voluntary HIV testing as a routine part of health care at hospitals and in primary care settings.

In observance of National HIV Testing Day on June 27th, the Westchester County Department of Health in collaboration with the Westchester Knows Task Force and Project WAVE agencies will offer free Rapid HIV testing at the following locations:
