The 2017 Summer Youth Employment & Training Program Application is now available. Applications will only be accepted on Monday, April 10, 2017 through Friday, April 14, 2017 between the hours of 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Youth Bureau, Room 306.
The Mount Vernon Youth Bureau is seeking mature, responsible and physically active youth ages 13-14 to participate in our Counselor In Training (C.I.T) Program this summer. If selected, their role will be to support the Safe Haven Summer Program Director and Counselors by participating in recreational activities, field trips, STEM and educational enrichment activities.
Applications will only be accepted on Monday, April 10, 2017 through Friday, April 14, 2017 between the hours of 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Youth Bureau, Room 306.
The Mount Vernon Youth Bureau would like to welcome parents and children to the 2017 Safe Haven Summer Program. Program participants must be between the ages of 6-12 as of June 2017 in order to attend. Attached, you will find a registration package which must be completed by Friday, June 2, 2017 in order for your child to be enrolled into the Safe Haven Summer Program.
The early bird special ending Friday, April 14, 2017 for the six week program is $450.00 ($400.00 for each additional sibling). After April 14, 2017, the fee will be $500.00 ($450.00 for each additional sibling). Money order is the ONLY form of payment that is accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS.
